Maison des Cerises is a village house in the center of Lourmarin, one of Provence’s most sought after villages. A magical place of meandering, cobbled streets lined with vibrant cafés restaurants, chic boutiques and enticing art galleries. The house is a short stroll away, tucked away from the bustle with parking 10 meters from the door, so no need to struggle with your grocery bags. Friday’s popular market is one of the Luberon’s finest and there’s a farmer’s market each Tuesday evening. Home to Provence’s oldest Renaissance Château where you can indulge in lavish musical evenings and soirées.

Maison des Cerises is a charming blend of modern convenience and old-world charm. Recently renovated with air-conditioning and central heating. Fast Wifi in every room. Two master suites both with en-suite bathrooms. Bright and spacious triple aspect living room with comfortable seating and home-office desk. New kitchen/dining room with dishwasher, cook top, oven & American style fridge/freezer, leading onto a private south-facing terrace with Gas BBQ and views of the village. Smart TV with English channels, Netflix & Prime. Bluetooth soundbar in living-room and kitchen. Laundry room with Washer and Dryer.

The region is resplendent with vineyards, olive groves, abundant fruit trees, timeless perched villages and in the summer, endless fields of sunflowers and fragrant lavender. A place to dream about when you’re far away, one you’ll leave longing to return.

Cleaning fee of €155.00 on all rentals
We are obligated to collect a local stay tax (taxe de séjour) approx €1.75 (euro) per person per night
A €500(euro) fully refundable security deposit is required, full details provided when booking confirmed.
Regrettably our property is not suitable for children or pets however small!

Caroline, your beautiful place in Lourmarin is everything you said it would be. Our ten day stay was just perfect! Everything in your bedroom flat has recently been remodeled which provided for our fantastic stay in Provence. The beds were super comfortable and the two bathrooms were nicely appointed. The gorgeous living room space has lots of seating and we enjoyed the ambiance of having a wood burning fireplace! Sitting out on your terrace overlooking the rooftops of Lourmarin was my favorite spot! Your kitchen is modern and well appointed so thank you for leaving us with everything we needed for our meals in. We could not have asked for a better location into the village in addition to ample parking. The Bistros and shops were less than a minute walk down the historic cobblestone streets. The village is so lovely and filled with local Parisian shops and quant eateries. There are many trails around town and we rented bikes to see more of the countryside. Lourmarin is centrally located in Provence so we were also able to visit many neighboring Perch Villages, wine taste at beautiful wineries and enjoyed day trips to the coast. We will definitely be back! Thank you again for a lovely stay, I highly recommend your place as it was truly one of my favorite vacations!

Lourmarin is a beautiful village in the Luberon region. As such it is certainly on the tourist map, but when you stay for a week, you see it’s quiet times too. This completely newly renovated 3 level village house is in a great location, with parking in a shared lot just metres from the door. Two double bedrooms each with ensuite. The lower one is a little dark, and could be better with air conditioning. Everything else was perfect. Top floor kitchen dining with a small balcony for eating out, middle floor with sitting room, and the main bedroom and bathroom, and lower floor with second bedroom, laundry including washer & dryer. The decor was perfect French provincial. Just a very short walk down to the bars, coffee, shopping and some fantastic restaurants. Market day was fun but beware the cheese merchant who cut us an enormous slice and said 80 euros. We are seasoned travellers! Walter the local host for the US based owners, gave great restaurant tips. We loved Number 9, in the village, La Feniere Bistro just outside and Alex at Curcuron. The region is full of villages to visit. I can recommend Maison des Cerises (Cherry House) whole heartedly.

Super localisation, et Walter et top! Maison magnifique dans le centre de Lourmarin. Tout est à proximité, et Walter est très attentif à ce que votre séjour se passe pour le mieux. Je recommande, n’hésitez pas!
