As we prepared to say ‘au revoir’ to this special little town, Lourmarin, which we had been able to call home for 6 months, I took another nostalgic tour around its charming alleyways and streets, trying to imprint all that I hold so dear into my mind and ‘take’ it with me…..
The trees now freshly covered with spring leave were already beginning to canopy the streets and the last of the blossoms splashed soft pinks and crimsony purples here and there.
The street we wandered up to buy our bread each morning
Looking back the other way to Cafe de L’Ormeau where we has sat and sipped many coffees!
A table set for an afternoon appéro!
Outside the potter’s shop
Boutique très chic
Walking back towards our street, Rue du Grand Pré
The street out through the village
The entry to our house
One more glance from our bedroom window, through the pomegranate blossoms
