At the start of the week I liked to get organized and often write myself a list of things to do. Whether I actually achieve everything on my list is another matter!
There are things you have to do, work for our business and trying to keeping the house sparkling!
Then there are more fun things you need to attend to. This week I need to shop for some new pillows and I also need some new cushions for my sun loungers, where better to go than PotteryBarn?!
I have friends coming to stay at the weekend so should make a dinner reservation at one of my favourite restaurants in the Carmel Valley Village, The Corkscrew
Of course the wine cellar will need restocking! I will purchase some Californian rosé from the wonderful Cow Girl Winery, near the Corkscrew Restaurant, where I sipped my first sumptious glass.
I might arrange to indulge with my girlfriend at the divine Carmel Valley Ranch Spa
I will be browsing through my recipe books and Pinterst board of ‘things I like to cook’ to search for something delicious to make
Then there will be flowers to buy, so a visit to Earthbound Farms will be needed:
and then flowers to arrange……
How I love to spend my time this way, just fussing around with flowers and ribbons to create something pretty for the table!
What’s on your list of ‘to do’s’ this week, I’d love know!?!

I just stumbled upon this wonderful post today Caroline. Carmel looks like a lovely town to spend a weekend in. The Corkscrew and the spa both look amazing…. right up my alley! 🙂 But really what made me smile is the flower market. So so beautiful.
Maybe we’ll make a trip out to Carmel one weekend this summer… is there a B&B /place to stay you might recommend?
