Driving around this beautiful area of West Palm Beach, one is immediately aware that ‘old money’ exists here. Stunning, mansion style properties close to, or on the Ocean. Everything immaculately groomed, in way that only Americans are capable of! 4, 5, 6 car garages, expensive German or Italian cars on the driveways……have we walked into a set for ‘Life styles of the rich and famous’?! Yes, we have seen such glamour in Beverly Hills, at Pebble Beach, in Newport, Rhode Island but this has its own distinct ambience and it reeks style! So often when you visit a place that you have heard so much about, when you actually get there it is a disappointment. There was nothing to be disappointed about here!
At the far end of the beach was the famous ‘Breaker’s Hotel’, timeless elegance, majestic, utterly stunning!
The lobby was decorated in Italian Renaissance style by artists from Genoa, Italy
The beautiful, fresh flowers in the lobby entry, nearly as gorgeous as my daughter!
We strolled and posed around the walkways and gardens of this gorgeous spot.
We watched as someone took their ‘boat’ out for a ‘spin’!
We shopped…..
and cruised the immaculate, palm tree edged avenues
before the sun finally set in a spectular style, which seemed to mirror this place!
